First day back-at-work blues
Sat with a colleague at lunch today and remarked how I found an old 50's cookbook at home which recommended cooking pasta for an hour
She said 'Oh I always cook mine for half an hour, it makes it nice and sloppy'
To which I semi-jocularly replied 'but it should be al dente!'
'No it shouldn't' She said. And there the conversation ended. *sigh*
