Weekend Football Thread
One interesting looking match to look forward to on Saturday, as high flying Wolves travel the short distance to the site of the McLeish revolution. Hopefully Mick's men will cunt em royally. Liverpool meanwhile have the opportunity to embarrass themselves against the ever entertaining Bolton.
On Sunday Arsenal will no doubt play some valiant stuff but without their one decent defender are surely going to be on the end of a stuffing at Old Trafford, where we can call look forward to Fergie gracing us with his presence on MOTD for the first time in two decades. City have Spurs - we never do particularly well at theirs and although their second string had the onorous task of drawing at home to Hearts this week I suspect another terse low scoring draw to be in the works.
Promising defender Dedryck Boyata joins Bolton. Scott Parker is a triffic player. Daniel Ayala is out for two months, that's a shame- thought he looked like a fine signing for Norwich. Liverpool allow arguably their best midfielder to fly out of the window.
Villa 2 - 2 Wolves
Wigan 1 - 1 QPR
Blackburn 0 - 1 Everton
Chelsea 3 - 1 Norwich
Swansea 1 - 0 Sunderland
Liverpool 3 - 2 Bolton
Newcastle 0 - 0 Fulham
Spurs 1 - 1 City
