Okay, at the weekend I took delivery of a SheevaPlug. This is a complete Linux server in a device the size of a plug: no moving parts and incredibly low power usage:

I then went through the following steps

to turn it into a Squeezebox Server for my music streaming at home. I rule, essentially. Thanks guys!
Anyway, yeah. If you need a server and have an external USB or eSATA HDD then grab yourself one of these babies. AWESOME!
