Anyone at all bothered by the DC comics 'reboot' furore?

Purely from a marketing point of view I'm interested in how successfully they'll be able to pull off winding up all their current titles and then releasing 52 new comics over the space of the next 3 months.
From a narrative point of view it really only gives most of the titles 3 issues to wrap up their current storylines whilst still kind of tying into Flashpoint.
For something like the Batman series of books (some 6 different titles all loosely tied into one overarching narrative arc), this might be tricky as it looked like things were just beginning to take a bit of shape.
I like their moxie though. 40+ years of continuity mothballed. A massive fuck you to their neckbearded, OCD completists, who are the people who've kept DC afloat. If it doesn't work out, I'm sure that DC will just 180 this reboot and go, HEY FOLKS SORRY ABOUT THAT HERE'S SOME CLASSIC SUPES STORIES FOR YA. And the nerds shall rejoice. Then indulge in flamewars about the reintroduction of a fifth string character from the Silver Age.
To be honest though, if these things weren't available for nothing I'd probably never read comics.
