Thursday Football Thread
Houiller officials steps down from the Villa job. Mark Hughes seems to be the favourite to step in. If he does, here's hoping Al Fayed does one of his mental little rants again.
Hiddink looking more or less a dead cert for the Chelsea job now, talking publically about how he'd like a return to club football. He'll more than likely be available at about 10pm tomorrow.
Wilshere talks about Arsenal needing to be 'nasty', bothering the ref more and such. Presumably he's not seen the Fair Play league table or any Arsenal performances in the season just gone.
Someone I've never heard of Tweets that they want to buy West Ham as Allardyce tells Hammers fans that they may as well not bother going to any away games ever again.
Loads of transfer nonsense, including:
- Palermo's owner insisting Chelsea have bid for Javier Pastore
- journalists still peddling the Sneijder to United bullshit
- Boateng and Bendtner closing in on moves to Bayern Munich.
And it's an international weekend. Let's all be boring about how boring international football is.
