Twitter's impact on court proceedings
I know we've discussed some of this stuff in relation to Mr Giggs and so on, but a lot of people here are interested in media/legal stuff, so thought I'd post this which is quite interesting:

It raises a lot of worrying stuff about the risks of people revealing information that is meant to be kept to court. The general mood of the Giggs fiasco seems to be celebratory - they can't silence the masses, kind of thing, but once sexual assualt victims have their names plastered everywhere, things will have taken a very dark turn.
Basically, citizen journalists are pricks. Almost as much as real journalists.
