The Great DiS Microwave Cookbook
Don't worry food snobs of dis - this thread is for you too, so open up and have a look.
So on days where I haven't brought my own lunch to work, I normally have either something really expensive or some kind of hodge-podge of cold ingredients from the supermarket. NOT TODAY.
The only tools we have in the kicthen are a kettle and a microwave, which today I used to make a spicy makerel noodle soup, from scratch with fresh ingredients. Here's how:
Get a bowl, put some ready-to-wok egg noodles in it, put in some sprouting broccoli, sugar snap peas, bit of chopped chilli, sliced cucumber, some flaked smoked makerel, half a veg stock cube. Cover with boiling water, stick it in the microwave for 1:45ish. BOOM.
It was truly delicious. I used to turn my nose up at the microwave but now I think anything is possible.
Erm... what else is possible?
