Ebooks may only be borrowed 26 times
This has angered me.

Basically Harper Collins are only allowing UK libraries to lend their books 26 times before deactivating them. Their reasoning behind this is that 'real' books get damaged over time and have to be replaced. Ebooks have, in theory, an almost infinite amount of 'lends' and so the publisher has decided to instigate an artificial lifespan in order to force libraries to purchase the titles again and again.
Fuck everything about this.
