Did you grow up in a 'naked' family?
I definitely don't mean 'nudist' here, by the way. That's just weird. I'm guessing most people will get it though. I tried to find a better way of phrasing it, really.
So anyhow, from a discussion I was having yesterday, it seems like kind of a lot people grew up in surprisingly... clothed families, and were weirded out by the idea of seeing parents/siblings naked. This isn't particularly normal, though, is it? As in, in my house nobody would bother to close a door to get changed (in fact, would generally use the landing for its big mirror), get dressed to use the bathroom / go get something from another room, and bathtime was always a pretty good conversation time (y'know, captive audience and all). All pretty standard, right? So is this just one of those things that people deny despite it being pretty much standard, or do households actually operate that? It seems like it'd be kind of a pain...
On a pretty related subject - not wearing clothes when home alone is normal, right? People seemed weirded out by this too. They're just liars, no?
