Healthy, easy-to-make, enjoyable and reasonably healthy breakfast thread.
Right, so I've been analysing some of the reasons I'm a bit of a fat bastard and I've concluded breakfast is the key here. If I have a filling breakfast I'll eat less the rest of the day but my breakfast tends to be unhealthy and/or unsatisfying.
At home I have:
Toast and jam - bit boring plus I'm trying to eat less bread.
Muesli - fucking boring over a number of days. But almost all other cereals (bar a few really bland ones) seem to be injected with huge amounts of sugar.
Porridge - can grow boring, takes time to heat and then cool a little so can be time consuming.
Plus I'll often decide I can't be arsed/don't have time for any of that, nip into the baker's on my way to work and buy a mini-pizza or quiche. Which clearly isn't healthy.
So what can I buy that I could have for breakfast that is easy to make, can be done if you have no time, is relatively healthy and I will stick to eating on a regular basis.
Anyone who helps with me with this is helping a man in at least three major heart attack and stroke risk groups avoid a heart attack or stroke. So if you answer this you can then be a twat to everyone you meet all day and still be winning in terms of karma...
