The Independent launching new 20p sister paper
Haven't seen this discussed on here yet...
Tomorrow the Indy is launching a shorter, commuter-friendly daily paper costing 20p:

It's effectively a heavily subbed version of the main paper - no stories more than 400 words, only one comment article, and more populist than the main paper (which is being revamped yet again, to look more 'upmarket' apparently...)
Any thoughts? If it's pitched right, I reckon it could do well - I like the Indy anyway, and a cheap alternative to the Metro that isn't the Sun has gotta be a good thing for commuters...
