Football ground food
I want to start a thread. There's probably about a million blogs where some melvin dissects the finer points of the grub sold at Turf Moor, but I want you to all tell me about the food you've eaten at football grounds and if it was any good. I'll give a few of my own opinions.
Stamford Bridge: Pretty shit and overpriced (just like the club, arf!). Don't usually bother with the £4 hotdogs inside, better off eating the burgers from the vans that congregate on match day, which are shit but AMAZING.
Ewood Park: The whole stadium smells like beef. In fact, a=the whole fucking town does. It's great. The pie I had there was the best food I've had at a football game. The chippe on the way home was superior to anything in west London, too. Almost good enough to convince me that a League Cup penalty defeat on a December's Tuesday night was worth the hassle.
The Emirates: Proper shit. The staff were fucking thick-as, too. Went to buy a hotdog from a stand that sold them exclusively, and ended up having to mime a sausage in a bun to the staff just to get my order.
Wembley: Absurd. Costs like £10 for burger and chips. Best off going to the McDonalds just off the Way.
Griffin Park: Lower league, so obviously better. Burger, chips and a cup of tea for about £3, and it's all decent enough for football ground grub too.
Brisbane Road: See above, but a bit pricier and not quite as good.
