OK so I cut my finger on a Tuborg bottle top...
... you know, one of those ring pull ones. I didn't notice at first because I'd be shaving and I was covered in blood anyway. But then the next day I had another one and cut the cut open and oh-oh-oh I knew what'd happened then. So I sent Carlsberg an e-mail telling them that, whilst I was going to let this one go, if they didn't want to get sued up, they'd better start being careful. Eventually we established that I didn't have the exact tops that had GBH'd me, so they weren't interested but did send me five squid to spend on their swill (which includes Skol, so that's me sorted until Bonfire Night) and a letter promising that they are really, really careful when they make stuff (I think it's a design flaw myself). Anyway the question is:
1) If you've wounded someone with one of your products, is it really the done thing to offer them some more?
2) Given how easy it is to do, have you ever considered fabricating a consumer complaint in the hope of getting some free shit?
3) Do you have any other comments on this matter?
