does anyones reading technique (as in, the physical process of reading a text) still favour print?
it might have something to do with me not having the internet at my flat, but i'm finding now that i can never make the effort to read stuff on the internet now...even when i'm back in essex with unlimited access.
i mean, just now...i started reading a big oral history of galaxie 500 on pitchfork....pretty exciting, don't normally get many articles on them etc etc....and after about a minute i just though...ah i can't be fucked with this
but if it was in a paper/magazine i'd covet that piece and read it dry
same with most reviews....in print i'll read stuff i don't even care about....on the internet i can't even be bothered to see what pitchfork have said about high violet.
i take it this has more or less died out amongst my generation, so just wondered it anyone felt the same?
it's quite interesting i guess, seeing as they're trying to merge the two with the i-pad and shit like that...i dunno.
