I'm currently experiencing difficulties with a company who appear to have ripped me off.
I won't name names, but the long and short of it is....
1) I purchase item for £300. Item arrives, but I decide that I would rather have one of the other items they stock instead, so item is returned to them (untouched with full packaging and documentation) a few days later via special recorded delivery Additionally, I enclosed a note explaining that I would like an alternative product with the packaging and emailed them too.
2) After a week I received a package from the company, but was disappointed to find that they had sent me the original item again rather than the product that I had requested. Again, I email them and send the item back with another note.
3) 16 days on and I still haven't heard from them. In that time I have sent them 12 emails, I have telephoned them 4 times (the phone was answered twice, but the 'sales people' were never around, apparently) and I have written to them with a letter of complaint.
Does anyone know what I can do?
I can print off all of the emails that I have sent them, I've kept a copy of the letter, can prove that my bank account has been debited for the money and that no refund has been received and should be able to find my sale number too.
Cheers.
I've ordered so much stuff online and have never been ripped off before. I guess it was bound to happen at some point.
