"Shamu" kills trainer

I loved my trip to Sea World when I was 8 and didn't think for a moment about the moral issues implied by keeping large intelligent mammals captive for our entertainment. Does this latest incident perhaps ring the death knell for such theme parks?
Personally, I've grown to find Sea World rather distasteful. Keeping intelligent creatures captive for conservation is one thing but forcing them to perform and quell their natural hunter's instincts is another.
Thoughts?
