Borderline Distasteful Admission
Right, it's not over a week since Alexander McQueen died in really tragic circumstances. Distance I feel which allows me to dispassionately share something without provoking too much ire.
Right, I had never realised that McQueen's real first name was Lee until reading his obituary.
That immediately put me in mind of another notorious Lee McQueen, beloved of DiSers. This man: http://i.telegraph.co.uk/telegraph/multimedia/archive/00678/lee-mcqueen-404_678369c.jpg
From that moment on, and intermittently ever since, I haven't been able to stop myself wondering, occasionally but churlishly, if the former 'Lee' McQueen did a 'reverse pterodactyl' when hearing about his mother's sad death.
Indeed, just earlier I again chuckled at the thought that Alexander McQueen may have spent some time in between his mother's and his own death, telling friends and relatives 'Lee McQueen is concerned' about his own plight in the third person. Just typing this has brought a sickening smirk to my face.
DiS, I am clearly a very, very ill man.
Regardless, I hope that I'm not the only one who made this synaptic connection and who still, despite myself, finds the whole thing just a wee bit gigglesome.
