Skeleton or Luge? (Friday Winter Olympics)
Saw the first run of the Women's skeleton last night - Amy Williams is well placed for a gold today if she puts in two clean runs. Never really showed any interest in it until last night in favour of the luge, but comparing the apparent speed and suchlike, I think I'm now in favour of going down headfirst instead. Briliant stuff.
Womens half-pipe was ok, but always going to disappoint after the mens - should have probably put them on the other way round - Sarka Pancochova looks like she's about twelve. Is the female commentator some kind of joke that the BBC are playing on us all?
Didn't see much of the womens super-combined. I understand the favourite crashed out though.
GB decimate Switzerland in the women's curling. The men lose narrowly (by less than half an inch) in their first game, but come back to beat Switzerland in the evening.
More stuff I've probably missed.
