I'm good with goat stories
So here's another one.
A 14-year-old British schoolgirl is set to top the Japanese charts after becoming an internet sensation.
Rebecca Flint from the Isle of Man shot to fame after uploading clips of herself dancing to Japanese pop music on the video sharing website YouTube.
Rebecca, who performs under the alter ego of Beckii Cruel, is thought to be so admired in Japan because of her striking resemblance to a ‘moe idol', a type of manga cartoon character known for small faces, big eyes and slender limbs.
Rebecca's videos have now been viewed over eight million times and her web page is the second most popular in the Japanese music scene.
Speaking to the BBC, Rebecca's father Derek Flint said "Rebecca is well aware of the online dangers, she's been well advised and has told us when there have been problems.
"This is just a bit of fun, dancing to Japanese culture."
After building up a huge online following the teenager was eventually signed by Tokuma Japan, one of the country's biggest publishers, alongside a 16-year-old girl from Portsmouth and 18-year-old French student who collectively make Beckii Cruel and the Cruel Angels.
The album is expected to top the Japanese charts upon its release today.
