'editing' my CV
When I was at school as a young buck, it never occoured to me that I'd ever have to actually be an age where you need to work/earn money. So, with that knoweldge, I never really gave too much effort to exams and grades and the whole meritocracy thing, because the way I saw it was, "I don't know what I want to do yet, so there's no point" bla bla bla
It's the usual scenario now. I am now of age..and I don't have a fucking leg to stand on.
GR8.
NOW, what I have been doing for the last few years has been living off very basic means, not really having any money or anything like that, but you get to a certain point where you're sick of that, and you just want to live a normal life, get a job, etc. I've never been able to get a job, because I have no grades, grades I was more than capable of obtaining at the time. Because meritocracy doesn't really mirror realistically how intelligent someone is, I think me knowing that while at school, I had a bit of a chip on my shoulder about that fact. So now I'm here, really just wanting my young life to take off, and it's just not gonna happen. I can't sit around being a dick any longer, so I've decided to 'enhance' my cv, and by tht I mean, not taking the piss n saying I have 7 honours, etc.. but just putting down the grades I was capable of getting at school, and I think that's a fine way to do this because I only want a wee job for now, such as in a shop, in a pub, just a wee thing, and I don't think you need to have an A in Physics to pull a fuckin' pint, so now I feel confident I will get a job and, y'know, things will take off.
I'd like to hear some feedback of more experienced minds, and to see what people think of this, I really don't think it's that bad, I have no other choice (I will obtain these grades formally in the coming years anyway)
