Not a great deal to talk about thanks to Old Man Winter's weekend wrath...
Arsenal draw 2-2 at home with Everton thanks to two quite (un)fortunate deflected goals, the second coming from Tomas Rosicky deep into injury time. I've seen Everton prosper from absurd rebounds this season though, so my heart hardly bleeds.
Birmingham keep up their lengthy unbeaten run with a 1-1 draw at home to Manchester United, Darren Fletcher quite rightly seeing red for a second yellow late on in the match. Choice post-match Fergie bullshit? Got to be the words "he's just not that sort of player" being used to Fletcher. If he's "not that type of player", no-one is.
No other PL games went ahead and the Championship was similarly ravaged. Forest hammered WBA 3-1 at the Hawthorns, Clough suffered a miserable first anniversary at Pride Park as Scunthorpe tore Derby a new 4-1-shaped arsehole and Leicester drew 1-1 with Ipswich, among other results.
Togo have pulled out of the ACoN, which kicked off yesterday with a frankly absurd 4-4 draw between hosts Angola and Mali.
Arsene Wenger has apparently delayed signing a new deal at Arsenal as he decides how and when he wants to finish his career. Some rumours have suggested he'll spend the next 18 months helping the board find a suitable replacement and then retire, but that's probably bullshit.
No interesting transfer rumours, really. Will City-Blackburn go ahead tonight?
