Football thread - delayed due to weather
So, with the snow parlysing most sporting pursuits last night, it's been a bit quiet. Stoke beat Fulham 3-2 though, having been 3-0 up at half time. Interesting.
Fergie junior takes over at Deepdale. Good for him, be interesting to see if he can take this chance to make the Championship grade.
City post a loss of $148m for 2008/09. No one is surprised.
Less fanfared is the loss united made. BBC Economics crumpet Robert Peston ponders on why they should be very fucking worried.

Portsmouth still haven't paid their players. Any team that is allowed to buy someone (Glen Johnson), make a massive profit on them, then fail to pay monies owed to the original club they bought him off, needs their head checking. Seems like the 'regular' staff have been paid though, just not the players.
Coyle's return to God's own country being delayed by wranglings over compensation. Burnley say he's on gardening leave, though I doubt he'll get much raking done in this weather. Clarke Carlisle maintains hope Columba will stay. Bless.
Lewes v Eastleigh in the BSS is off, Arsenal v Bolton is still on but any late snow in North London may change that.
And, off you go...
