A Football Thread maybe?
Owen Coyle spent most of yesterday locked in talks with Bolton. A Sky Sports "source" suggests that Bolton and Burnley have agreed compensation, but we're unlikely to hear any more until tonight.
Alan Shearer denies that he's going to be manager of Sheffield Wednesday and Graham Taylor is to stay on as chairman at Watford for at least six more months.
All go at Portsmouth. The club's fans register a Supporters' Trust with the launch expected next month and rumours abound that Al-Fahim may donate his 10% shareholding to the Trust. £7m of TV money is to be diverted elsewhere and although the club have agreed an extension to Jamie O'Hara's loan deal, the Premier League may refuse to ratify it.
