How come panel shows stopped being funny?
I'm on the verge of loathing them I think. It's probably the influx of Jimmy Carr and Frankie Boyle types. And the tendency for panelists to try and keep their face on screen for as long as possible by dragging out ideas that were barely funny from the start.
I think it's only Ian Hislop who's funny anymore. His cute little bald head a beacon of hope. Paul Merton hasn't said anything funny for ten years.
