Internet question, anyone wanna field it?
I know nothing about how the internet actually works, how signals are transmitted, etc, so feel free to call me whatever, BUT:
My internet seems fucked. It's disconnecting randomly, taking an absolute age just to load up the google.com homepage I've chosen (and even when it loads there's bits of the word "google" missing, or it doesn't appear at all but there's a blue outline where it should be). Then there's DiS - it takes forever to load, disconnects midway through a post, won't let me access certain sections of the site, etc.
I wanted to rewatch some Stewart Lee videos on youtube, too, but they take forever to load, too, and usually stop buffering three or four minutes in. Plus, spotify keeps cutting out (which is the worst of all these complaints). Anyhoo, my question is:
It's been snowing rather heavily where I am, so could the blanket of merry white be fucking with my wireless signal?
(Reading that question, it seems glaringly apparent that the answer is yes, but like I said, I'm an internet moron so humour me).
