i've decided i want to be a deckhand on a scottish trawler
...soaring the cruel sea mistress, working your bones to a proper shift, shaping up like a man, reciting Keats at the Bow(ie), reading melville at the stern, counting the days till i see my bonnie lassie at the port side way.
what a life.
few questions...
a) how would one go about achieving this ambition
b) should i tell the skipper about my humanities degree? will that help? what about my work experience with the council?
