I don't know why they've identified me as the new tsar/saviour of a crumbling and patently inadequate benefits system. I guess i've had enough experience. I could probably turn it round, just need a reliable PA.

I went to a job center recently.
I earned the ire of the guy I spoke to by disturbing his browsing of the football scores. He was a bastard to me for months after that. I'd like to say I got him back by showing him my job offer for lots more than he earns but I get the impression he was beyond caring.
I passed my interview to work for them.
You get put on a waiting list and have to wait months normally. They offered me a job at a Job Centre but it's 30 miles away and I'd get paid £2k less than I would in Brighton + the season ticket on the train would be astronomical so I turned it down.

A part of my soul dies every time I get my wage packet. I don't mind paying tax in the slightest but the thought that even a tiny fraction of 1p that I earned subsidises your whinging trolling existence is more than I can bear.

I turned down a job with them.
The thing is the people doing the recruiting often work as a seperate agency (Manpower conduct all the recruitment for Job Centres in Surrey and Sussex) so I'm not sure how well linked up it is.
