when you get given too much change at a shop
what do you instinctively do? And do you regret this afterwards?
I got given two £5 notes change at our local bakers the other day rather than the one fiver I was meant to be given. Instinctively I told the cashier but then I kind of thought afterwards that an extra fiver would have been nice.
But then I think I made the right decision. I use that bakers at least once a week and I'd feel pretty ashamed going back in there, knowing I'd taken advantage of their mistake. Maybe if it was a Halifax ATM that had given me an extra tenner, I'd feel differently.
