The British woman who smuggled heroin into Nigeria is on trial as we speak
Not that much of a trial is expected, seeing as she confessed and, you know, was found with shit-loads of heroin on her.

While I find the death penalty abhorrent and would really much rather that no-one was subjected to it, I'm really struggling to sympathise with her or with British-based human rights organisations claims that she should complete her custodial sentence (as her somewhat mysterious pregnancy suggests that is what she'll get) in this country.
Anyone else interested in this story? I'm bored and haven't linked to a BBC News article in a while.
