Congratulations to Burnley for reaching the lofty heights of the Premier League. They'll probably go straight back down but they deserve their payday. Owen Coyle has done a tremendous job but now the work really starts. He probably needs to buy at least 10 new players to have any chance of survival next season.
With Gordon Strachan's resignation yesterday there's no shortage of names being thrown in the hat for the top job at Celtic Park. Tony Mowbray, Mark McGee and Craig Levein are the most plausable candidate with Owen Coyle, Alan Curbishley, Mick McCarthy and Davie Moyes the ones the bookies look to make some money from. Strachan favours McGhee.
Jose Mourinho has signed a new contract with Inter which puts to bed any rumours of him heading for Spain.
Apart from the Celtic situation not a damn thing interesting is happening, is there?
Oh and I quite liked this story: http://blogs.mirror.co.uk/football-banter/2009/05/celtic-fans-sock-it-to-rangers.html
