Attention Young Filmmakers aged 11-18!!!! (BFI-centric)
About London in Motion film competition
http://www.bfi.org.uk/whatson/node/9617
Aspiring young film-makers from all around Britain, aged between
11 and 18 years, are invited to submit a short film (under three minutes) depicting London as a vibrant city in perpetual movement; a film that captures the sights, sounds and spirit of London.
The film could take inspiration from any of London’s sights – tubes, trains, shoppers, skaters, bikers, drivers, hoppers, joggers, jumpers, dancers, jugglers – anything that shows the pace, vitality and character of an extraordinary city on the move. Furthermore, we encourage the young filmmakers to use any platform available to them - cameras, phones, camcorders etc...
Please see the webpage which goes into greater detail about the competition and the exciting prizes on offer, which include the opportunity to have a new soundtrack scored and recorded by Ronnie Scott's Artistic Director James Pearson.
We are keen to get as many people involved in this exciting and worthwhile project and we would greatly welcome your help in promoting this competition whether through posting a note on your site, announcing the competition in assembly or class, or any other suggestions that you may have.
Please do not hesitate to PM me if you have any questions. SPREAD THE WORD!
