so i finally (90s video game journalism centric)
got round to putting winuae (amiga emulator) on crappy band laptop. and its amazing and tha, but i've spent far more time on these :

which is a collection of old amiga powers. which led me to this:
http://amr.abime.net/issues_5
which is a digitiser tribute site. which led me to digiworld (digitiser written by amiga power)
ap, and later digitiser/digiworld, were games magazines that folded essentially cos the staff wouldn't shut up about how corrupt and rubbish the games industry had become. (amiga power got in regular legal trouble for saying that an average game should score 50%)
and now im totally of the opinion that the guys that did this stuff were THE GREATEST ENGLISH AUTHORS EVER. even tho they mostly only wrote games reviews, amateur cartoons, and sarky social commentary.
does anyone else think the same / know what stuart n hardy is doing now? and can anyone recommend anyone that carries on this lineage? i never bothered getting digiworld when it was released, i feel stupid and wrong for it now..
