Quick help re: hairdressers please DiSers (specifcally females)
I have pretty shit hair, it's thin and flat and straight and nothing is ever going to make it better. I accept this, so I am not asking for miracles.
Heregoes the dull conversation:
Him: what do you want doing today darling?
Me: I want an inch off at the back or however much it needs to get rid of split ends
Him: do you want some layering at the back there to give it a bit more body?
Me: no, my hair is too thin, if you do that, it'll look like you've been at it with a pair of shears. I've tried it several times and it turns out awful.
Him: oh, okay (bit more explanation from me), I can see that now you've said it.
Me: all I want is an inch off at the back to blunt it up and a bit of shaping around the face to soften it up a bit, nothing else will work.
Result: I walk out pissed off to fuck because my hair smells and like an old people's ward (thanks Aveda) and when I get home, I realise his face-shapening skills are non-existent.
... let's all take a yawn break.
Anyway at the time I gave him and the hair washer a tip.
Polite ways to get them to correct it pronto without being rude and making him feel bad? as he's a nice guy. I hate my hair at the best of times but paying £45 for a haircut that I probably could've got my mum to do is not great.
I pay the same place £45 for waxing btw.
