so I got taken into the boardroom on our office Apprentice
TOTALLY unjustified. bastard.
our task was to run a mini-sandwich business and sell them to our fellow workmates.
I and another girl went to sainsburys to buy all the food - 6 loaves of bread, 5 large baguettes, 3 bags of cheese, 6 packets of ham, 2 lettuces, 2 cucumbers, 6 cans of tuna, 1 mayo, 1 mustard, 16 tomatoes (should have got more), branston pickle, 28pack of crisps.
we spent £55. (argh!)
Long story short, we lost. only because we (the team) were late back with the money, so incurred a £5 fine. and also, i handed in the £3 change from the shopping late, so it was discounted. we lost by £7odd.
this was the reason i was taken into the boardroom. motherfuck.
and had to defend myself so as not to get 'fired'. let me tell you, it is quite nerveracking. even though essentially there's no real loss.
anyway, so i called the team leader out and told him that as a team leader he should have been more authoratative and TOLD me he needed the money, not randomly reminded me when we were in the middle of a tuna-crisis. AND also that i'd been the one who'd bought the food and made a lot of the sandwiches - which were to a hiiiiiiigh standard.
with this, i was told to 'go home' and saved my own ass.
office Apprentice - would do again.
