Into The Wild
WARNING: MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS
I watched this last night, and thought it was generally great. Beautifully shot, some great acting (the old leather-working guy made me shed a tear), all that jazz.
But for a long time I found it really hard to like the main character. He seemed very confused and pissed off, even quite arrogant? He went around saying how much he hated people and their inhumanity - yet everywhere he went he met incredible people who all loved and cared about him. When he wrote down his final epic conclusion - "All happiness is shared", I was just like, "ya think?! It's taken you long enough."
Still, very moving. When they showed you his photo at the end... wow.
