The best national park in England
Yes, I know Wales has them too, but I can't remember them. Include if you like. I haven't been to The Broads, but google tells me I'd hate it for sure, so, from best to worst:
1. Yorkshire Dales
2. North York Moors
3. Lake District
4. Peak District
5. Exmoor (or am I thinking of Dartmoor?)
6. Dartmoor (or am I thinking of Exmoor?)
7. Northumberland
8. The Broads
= New Forest
I wasn't sure if the last two counted, and on googling I found this article, which I think is quite possibly the best news article I've ever read. I don't quite know why, but it's had me in complete hysterics. It's perhaps the image of all these park rangers having some kind of epic battle, or else that it's just really, really funny. And kinda sweet. Anyhow, here:

(And no, there's no regional bias in this post, North Yorkshire just happens to be brilliant)
