A short vent.
I like people who are economical with words.
Saying much more than needs to be said in a faux-authoritative manner does not make what you say mean more.
Dispensing information in a monotone monologue is not the same as having a conversation.
Listing details (and spontaneously made up supporting facts) in an attempt to illustrate knowledge just shows a lack of ability to discern salient information.
Relating excess detail and spontaneously made up facts as a tool to 'win' a conversation illustrates intellectual insecurity.
Waiting for someone else to finish what they are saying without listening, then continuing your monologue, is an avoidable and unpleasant flaw a little bit like, say, smelling bad because you didn't wash.
These are, um, a few points unrelated to anything that has happened to me recently. I just thought I'd get them off my chest.
Happy Christmas!
