Christmas Curry Thread
I finally have a blender for making a base sauce to use in a curry (peppers, garlic, tomatoes, onions, garam masala, some other spices if ur totes fancy, hell of ghee if you want). AWESOME. Makes a dish that's far closer to something out of a curryhouse. I did cheat a little and use a paste, but, y'know.. credit crunch.
QUESTIONS. Does anyone have a talent for doing Indian food? I've got a couple of generic curries (coconut one, blazing hot one, kinda less hot one) but I'd love to be able to make more specific dishes. Does anyone blend their own spices, like what a tv chef like ainslee harlot or huge fearly whittsingstall might?
