'creakyknees backs Milliband's call for hostage release'
I back David Millibands call for an immediate release of the hostages taken during the capture of the saudi oil tanker by somalian pirates.
People might ask why I chose to back him at this point, and why I needed the prompting of his call, to speak on this matter.
The answer is, I was niave.
I had imagined that most people would have wished for the release of the hostages (were they not to gain financially from this act of piracy). However David Millibands call for their release has made me realise that silence on the matter can be sumised to be tacit approval for this unprecedented act of piracy.
I am now attempting to correct any misinterpretation of my silence on this matter may have caused.
In fact I think that we can all agree that David Milliband has shown dynamism and initiative in furthering the likelyhood of a successful outcome, by his timely call for the hostages release, I mean, otherwise the pirates might not have known what others wanted to happen to the hostages.
I think that we all now know where we stand.
PS I am expecting a further statement from Mr Milliband about what he wants to happen to the hostages taken in the subsequent two most recent/further acts of piracy, despite the fact that these ships are much smaller.
PPS will this affect petrol prices?
