most of the photographs are outstanding.
some of these photos I've seen before, such as the one of the Eton schoolboy and the Draper one of the first Amercian daguerreotype, but most i've never seen
I love the ones of Baden Powell, Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly, but that one of the Reichstag tells it all.
If you like these you should go to the National Portrait Gallery. I spent five hours there last time I was in London. I went into one room and looked behind the door and was greeted by Baden Powell - it was like he was alive. The picture of the WW1 War Cabinet is also quite fascinating, as is the one of the first parliament after the Parliamentary Reform Act.
