Can I get a hell yeah?
I for one am hoping for yet another Cole Train rap during the end credits.
i went in to blockbuster today and the manager offered me a copy if i didn't tell anyone. 35 quid he said. shame i've got no money.
Work tomorrow is going to drag. I might go home at lunchtime to play it.
is where it's at.
Stephen Fry isn't as gay as all those beefed up space marines though.
would be ruined if I couldn't get a copy so I phoned my local gamestation to reserve a copy. "Are you coming to collect at midnight tonight?" the guy asks. "Er.....yes?".
Still, means I can get in some pre-mates over homework done in my lunch break tomorrow.
Looking forward to some co-op Hoarde.
saw Horde mode is incredible.
I remember that Time Splitters has a mode where you had to see how long you could survive waves of zombies, head shot kills only. If it's anything as good as that then it'll be totally win.
Also like the addition of being able to get in some multiplayer practice with bots.
I'm off Live for the forseeable future so you've just bumped this up a couple of notches for me. Excellent.
Apparently there is the odd glitchy thing but as they use the same AI is campaign enemies they have the tendancy to be pretty sht hot if you ramp up the difficulty.
come on hands...
I always thought that adding in some bots was something they'd missed in the first one, so this will be interesting. I hope you can give them silly names.
For some online shizzle - Asheq.
See you at the edge of my chainsaw.
"back in your hole!"
think i might pick it 2nd hand this weekend, the idea of a gun with a chainsaw sellotaped to it is a good idea
£29.99 at Sainsbury's and Morrison's tomorrow.
See you punks online!
Just going to check.
Sainsbury's - now.
It's like a cross between Hoover and 8 men down.
Much better than knockout whist too.
I prefer a hand of 'Slippery Jack'.
I do enjoy a game of Forty Card Drag though.
The slippery hand of Jack on your balls.
i'm still trying to complete gow right now
past the reavers yet?
due to the fact that a whole day of work before this is going to be painful.
anyone fancy helping me on coop to complete it??
Also: WHERE'S MY COPY OF GOW2, MR POSTMAN???
Rubbed shouders with the geeks last night to secure my copy.
Managed to resist a late night and went straight to bed.
Had about 45 mins with it this morning.
Was playing the tutorial mode. Essentially 5 tuts that guide you through each online game mode against bots. Then you get set up your own bot games.
Tonight it's co-op campaign and horde.
Flamethrower & extended executions FTW!
My local Blockbuster was supposedly open at midnight flogging this. As I said before, today will be the longest day ever.
maybe not right now but we could arrange a date, so to speak?
I've had to stop playing for a bit as I've developed the shakes, which I suspect isn't good. Failed twice on horde at level 10 with 4 other randoms so I quit as I couldn't go through all that again.
Also: this is actually the BEST GAME EVER.
i too have got to level 10 with randoms and failed, so annoying!
I've not realy played the campaign since Friday, how long did we play for, 5hours or so?
Sorry about calling it a night at that point, my neck was hurting really badly and I felt knackered!
Not really got much further, escaped the Sires and trying to get past the 'annoying me to the point of screaming' razor hail and loads of locust.
i've still not managed to complete the 10th wave on horde, keep getting stuck with some awful players.
i hate games where you have to shoot people about a million times for them to die, and when you mix it up with a bunch of hyperhomo characters and some ugly grey scenery then what is the point?
GoW is a fallacy. A few intriguing new shooting game features does not a good shooting game make
"don't believe the hype"
it's quite fun. I got to a bit driving a massive platform thing through the forest and gave up though.
