Prof Brian Cox Public Lecture Tomorrow
The first Roscoe Penny Lecture of 2008 is to be delivered by Professor Brian Cox. Professor Cox is a Royal Society University Research Fellow based in the High Energy Physics Group within the University's School of Physics and Astronomy. He is currently part of the team involved in the Large Hadron Collider project taking place at CERN in Switzerland. Scientists working on the LHC are hoping to recreate conditions in the Universe less than a billionth of a second after the Big Bang and uncover some of the universe's unsolved mysteries.
Professor Cox will lecture on The Origin of the Universe at 7.00pm on 9th October at Manchester Uni
