No Country For There Will Be Blood & Brad Pitt As He Gets Shot By His Wussy Mate
I saw three films recently at a friends house after not seeing hardly any at all for a very long time.
There Will Be Blood
Daniel Day-Lewis was ace in it but his accent was really annoying after a while, I was really pissed and it was stupidly late though. The film is so beautifuly shot. I thought the stoy was good but a bit to knowingly tryin to make a point about modern life with a wink and nob but in ye olde times.
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
Was a bit long and meandering again beautifuly shot. I couldn't really get into it...
No Country For Old Men
I loved this one best of the bunch for me. The psycho guy was wicked and I liked his distain for door knobs.
What did you lot think of these films?
What else should I try and watch that maybe isn't a bit wildwest...
