Can you help a lonely lobster?
Staff at Blackpool Sea Life Centre staff are looking for a male lobster to provide a vital lifeline.
The only common lobster at the Golden Mile attraction has laid eggs, but a lonely male is now needed to fertilise them.
Aquarist David Bulmer said: "Claud-ette has been at Sea Life for three months now and we've not had a male lobster here for a long time."
Staff noticed that she had her tail curled underneath her and it was later confirmed that she was holding eggs.
Do you own a lonely male lobster and want to play cupid?
Then get in touch with the attraction to help to continue the life cycle of this long- standing member of the Sea Life family.
Fishermen are also encouraged to keep an eye out in case they chance upon a likely beau for Claudette in a lobster pot.
David said: "We are seriously looking for someone who can help make a lonely lobster very happy."
