what's the 'best' thing you've ever turned down?
In year 7 I discarded an offer to meet Tony Blair. It was part of an all-round trip to London for the 'smart' kids [see the ones who managed to bullshit their way through the CAT test]. It was just basically going to see the sites and meeting the current prime minster. You know, all the things us unprivileged kids were 'missing out on'. I decided not to go in the end because I found all the other kids who were going boring and, at the time, I thought there were much better ways I could spend that week in my summer.
Also when I was really really young, probably before I even started school, I was offered the chance to be in an advert. The idea of which must have scared the little shit out of me, as one of my earliest memories is of my mum asking me and me feeling really upset and crying because I *really* didn't want to do it. I've always somewhat regretted the second one.
The first one to post 'your mum' gets a prize for being a idiot.
