"The latest thing in reading"
is what it says on a little laminated poster inside Waterstones plugging some sort of ebook affair. That's doublespeak, isn't it? Reading is reading, there's no way it can develop or be changed to suit technology, it's just an act we do without thinking of the potential. Nitwits.
A little further on, I saw that someone has written a biography of Fearne Cotton. I think it was at that moment that my respect for culture among humankind finally crumbled like an Antarctic ice shelf.
