Boris's 'Prince of Darkness' Quits
Tim Parker, Boris's first deputy mayor has resigned as deputy and as Chairman for Transport for London. Apparently he felt that Boris didn't actually need a first deputy (though i assume he's keeping the other 4).
This is the guy that became known as the Prince of Darkness thanks to his rather brutal business practices during his time at AA. Working for the Private Equity firm that had just brought the company he slashed something like 3,000 jobs and then strolled out of the gig £40mill richer. not a believer in the fair distribution of wealth then...
Bet the transport unions are happy.
Bet Boris isn't.
