chips (chip stories please)
how do you like them? When I make chips they come out soft but dry on the outside, all brown from the hot oil i cook them in.
it's just at work we have chips that come out all puffy, chewy, dry on the outside, golden, thick - like oven chips, but they cook them in the conventional way.
i said to the chef 'how do you get the chips like that?' and he told me to shut up.
are they coated in something first?
