One defining moment that changed you life
For me, it was watching a band called The Astronauts. I'd known the singer as a long haired loser who couldn't get away from living in the 60's. My Dad, who I was too scared to talk to for years, was standing by the bar, and I was so terrified of him trying to talk to me (he drank alot at the time, had he talked to me it would have been Hell). The Astronauts came on and caused this whirlwind of chaos amongst the audience, to the point where it was like I was under total control of the band. My Dad was edging forward to me, wanting to talk to his son, but by this point I had my fists in the air, screaming, crying, dancing, and being happy for the fact that music could turn someone around from a narrow minded nu-metal fan to a 15 year old nightmare rolling around on the floor, covered in goosebumps and verging on tears of amazement. That night I told my Dad what I thought of him. His attitude changed very quickly, and we became the best of friends. Had that strange night not happened, my life would be so different. I love that night.
Has anyone had a moment which they will never forget, which changed their whole life?
