Teshigahara
Because japanese arthouse cinema from the 60s is something you should all know about if you want to be as cool as someone like me.
Anyways I ordered a boxset of three of teshigaharas kobo abe adaptions from criterion and am as excited as excited can be. Pitfall, The face of another and Woman in the Dunes.
I'm not particularly arty but when it comes to films i'm really really unarty, analysis is so far away from my mind it would probably offend most cineastes and I feel this benefits me no end, woman in the dunes will just be about existentialism, sex and mega-cinematography - there's no way I won't enjoy it.
I'm so hyped.
